DRP stands for Directed Reading Project. It is a program here at UT in which a graduate student guides an undergraduate through a mathematically sophisticated paper or textbook. More details can be found at the DRP website.

We studied basic point set toplogy from the book Introduction to Topology from Gamelin and Greene and then turned to the study of smooth manifolds via Milnor’s book Topology from The Differential Perspective. I wrote up some notes and exercises on this part since it can be very concise: Notes on Differential Topology
